My first new post here may as well link to the old.  I’ve been part of a group blog of junior scholars in Victorian literature called The Floating Academy for three years now.  The blog’s title is, of course, Victorian slang for the nineteenth-century hulks moored on the Thames that were used as prisons.  It’s a great blog of all things Victorian, and the summer posts are flying fast and thick on everything from marketing Victorian novels to the YA crowd to the ways that the first page of Dickens’s Great Expectations have been represented typographically.  Click here to read all about it!
